Environmental Emergencies


To request assistance in the event of rainwater accumulation, you can contact the emergency response team on one of the following numbers:

  • For floods on main roads: 80001810
  • Muharraq Municipality: 17984324 or 17984326
  • Southern Municipality: 17986326 or 17986035
  • Northern Governorate: 80070000
  • Capital Municipality: 80001815

The emergency response team will respond to complete the water removal process.

You can also use the Fix2Go feature in Tawasul app to share a photos and details of the emergency to the concerned entity.

To remove waste that endangers the environment, you can use the Fix2Go feature in Tawasul app to share a photos and details of the emergency to the concerned entity. 

In the event of a leakage of hazardous chemicals or radioactive materials, you can call 999 for help. Remember: 

  • All 999 calls are free. 
  • 999 covers all emergency services, i.e. fire, police, and ambulance.  
  • State which service you require. 
  • Provide clear details of the incident, number of casualties (if any), additional hazards, and the full address of where the incident is taking place, including the building number, road number or name, block number, and any junctions or other landmarks 
  • Do not end the phone call until the control officer clears the line. 
  • Do not move any casualties unless necessary.
